FOLKLORE RESTAURANT is a short classic-animation film. Characters are created from the special Japanese paper (washi) and sometimes appear over a background of original photographs of the aurora borealis. FOLKLORE RESTAURANT explores, in an aesthetically exceptional way, the strength of the fox tales originating from Native America, Finland, and Japan. It is both an educational and entertaining film.
